A Level students across Anglesey and Gwynedd have been congratulated on their results.
Anglesey Council said it encouraged learners to consider their options and ask for advice and guidance "so they can take the next step with confidence".
They also recognised "the essential support...from schools, families and the wider community".
Cllr Dafydd Roberts, who holds the education portfolio, said: "I would like to congratulate all young people on Anglesey who receive their results today."
"Best wishes to you on your next chapter whether you continue your education or venture into the world of work."
"I would like to sincerely thank the staff in our schools, as well as the parents and families of these young people, for their guidance, encouragement and enthusiasm throughout their studies."
Aaron C Evans, Anglesey Council's director of education, skills and young people, added: "I would like to congratulate all of the learners on their success. Your persistence, resilience and dedication to your studies and to continuing to learn deserve credit."
"I would also like to acknowledge the invaluable contribution of our teachers, support staff, families and other partners. By working together, as a team, we can support everyone to succeed."
"If you are not sure what to do next or unsure about the options available to you, there is advice available at the school or from Careers Wales."
"Information is also available on our new website, Pathways to Success - good luck to you on your next chapter."
In Gwynedd, education chiefs said they were "extremely pleased" with A Level, AS and vocational qualification results from students in the county's secondary schools.
Cllr Dewi Jones, cabinet member for education at Cyngor Gwynedd, said: "The success of our young people with their results today is a clear reflection of their dedication and perseverance."
"It gives me great pleasure to congratulate them on reaching such important milestones, and extend my heartfelt thanks to the teachers and school staff who have played a key role in preparing them for these qualifications."
"As our students move on to new and exciting opportunities, I would like to wish them every success in their future careers."
The council's head of education also noted the success of Gwynedd students in their Advanced Subsidiary exams and wished them all the very best in their A Levels next year.
Gwern ap Rhisiart said: "I extend a special thank you to the schools and teachers for their continued professionalism and dedication, to the students for their considerable efforts and to their families for their continued support."
"The contribution of each of them has been key to the success we are celebrating today."
