An Amlwch man has been jailed after police found more than £13,000 worth of drugs in his car.
Ricky Pritchard (31) admitted possessing Class A and B drugs with intent to supply after police stopped his Ford Mondeo near the town's industrial estate on 27th December.
Officers found a substantial amount of cocaine and cannabis resin, along with a storage container including a large haul of cash, cocaine, several pills and other items, including drug paraphernalia.
Caernarfon Crown Court heard the drugs seized were found to have an estimated street value of around £13,600.
Pritchard, who also pleaded guilty to acquiring criminal property, was sentenced to sixteen months in prison.
Following sentencing on Friday, District Inspector Wayne Francis from North Wales Police said: "We continue to deliver on our commitment to target those who seek to bring drugs to Anglesey."
"Proactively stopping and searching individuals is just one way that we are targeting drug supply on the island to protect vulnerable community members."
"If you have any concerns relating to the supply of drugs in your area, you can make an anonymous report via Crimestoppers."
