A Blaenau Ffestiniog man has been jailed for 19 years for sexually abusing a child.
A jury found David Morris guilty on three counts of sexual assault, five counts of voyeurism and one count of making indecent images of a child.
North Wales Police said Morris' victim didn't tell anyone about his crimes at first because he convinced her that no one would believe her, including her own mother.
At Mold Crown Court on Thursday, he was sentenced to fifteen years in prison and an extended licence period of four years.
Morris (41) was also banned for life from contacting his victim under a restraining order.
DS Gemma Smith said: "Morris’s horrific abuse will no doubt have a life-long impact on the victim."
"I commend the victim’s bravery in finding the strength to speak out and I hope that this result allows her to move forward in the knowledge that he cannot harm anyone again."
"My message to anyone who has experienced sexual abuse, no matter when, is to seek support. We are here to listen and will fully investigate any reports made to us."
