The body of a 60 year-old man has been found in the River Seiont in Caernarfon.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the discovery at around 1.40pm on Sunday afternoon.
The local man has not been named publicly, but his next-of-kin have been informed and the local coroner has been informed.
North Wales Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson added: "Our thoughts remain with the man’s family who are being supported by officers."
