A body has been found following a week-long search for a missing teenager around the Menai Strait.
The alarm was raised when a 17 year-old boy was reportedly spotted entering the water at around 9.45am on Friday 20th September.
Emergency services, including police, fire and coastguard teams spent eight days combing the area around the Menai Suspension Bridge.
Specialist drone searches were also carried out earlier this week.
North Wales Police confirmed on Saturday evening that a body had been discovered - the missing teenager has not been named publicly.
Superintendent Simon Barrasford said: “My thoughts are with the family and our officers continue to provide support to them at this incredibly difficult time.
“I would like to thank the community for their support during the searches."
