The body of a missing 74 year-old man who went missing in Eryri has been found.
Extensive searches were carried out for Gregor, who disappeared after parking his car at the Snowdonia Mountain Hostel near Bethesda last Thursday morning.
North Wales Police said his body was discovered on Carnedd Y Filiast at just before 4pm on Monday afternoon (29th June) and it has now been formally identified.
It's believed there are no suspicious circumstances and the coroner for North West Wales has been informed.
Chief Inspector Stephen Pawson said: "My deepest condolences remain with Gregor’s family at this incredibly difficult time."
"Thank you to partner agencies, volunteers and members of the public who assisted in our searches over the weekend and today."
An inquest is expected to take place at a later date.
