Anglesey's high streets are being given a colourful transformation as part of a community project.
The 'Paint the Town' scheme, which launched in the Holyhead and Amlwch areas last year, has already seen 60 buildings being given a facelift in the past year.
It's now being extended into Llangefni - where work is taking place on two rows of properties - with a further 80 buildings set to benefit in the next twelve months.
The project is being led by MônCF (Môn Communities Forward) with support from the county council.
Rita Stewart, MônCF chief executive, said: "Our Paint the Town project was born from the belief that a fresh coat of paint and general tidying up can make a real difference to how people feel about their towns."
"Beyond improving appearances, it helps create spaces where people enjoy spending time and feel proud of."
"The vibrant, colourful buildings contribute to a positive atmosphere and can help kickstart the revitalisation of our high streets."
The scheme is prioritising prominent groups of adjoining high street properties with local painters and scaffolders being employed to carry out the work.
Property owners and local town councils have also been closely involved with the project, funded by the UK and Welsh Governments, which is seeking expressions of interest for 2026.
Anglesey Council leader Gary Pritchard added: "I very much welcome the initiative and the excellent work MônCF and their local contractors are delivering."
"It's clearly making a visible difference to the appearance and attractiveness of our high streets and directly supports our commitment to support the economy and local businesses to grow and prosper, which is outlined in the council plan."
