A by-election has been called for a vacant Anglesey Council seat in the Talybolion ward.
It was triggered by the resignation of Llinos Medi, who became the new Ynys Môn MP at the UK general election in July.
Ms Medi was first elected as a county councillor in 2013 and went onto become leader at the local authority four years later.
The Talybolion ward - in the north west of the island - is represented by three county councillors.
Two of the three seats are held by Plaid Cymru, with the third now vacant following Ms Medi's resignation.
Nominations for the vacant seat must reach the returning officer, Dylan J Williams, by 4pm on Friday 27th September.
If the by-election is contested, the poll will be held on Thursday 24th October.
