Young people from Anglesey are being invited to apply for a graduate scheme with the county council.
Now, the local authority is seeking three new students to take on roles in their housing, education and modernisation departments.
Cerys Jones, who joined as an economic development graduate last September, said: "The experiences I've had over the past few months have been incredibly valuable."
"Having the opportunity to study for a master's degree alongside gaining real, hands-on work experience has been especially beneficial, and it's been rewarding to see how academic learning translates into the workplace."
"We've also had opportunities to engage with senior leaders, including regular meetings with the Chief Executive and external partners, which has helped broaden my understanding and develop new skills."
"The work I've been involved in has been both varied and exciting, and colleagues have been very supportive in giving me the opportunity to contribute."
"I've been particularly fortunate to work on projects such as the redevelopment of the former Peboc site and the renovation of the maritime terminal in Amlwch. I've also had the chance to spend time with different departments—and even joined the maritime team out on the water."
"Overall, the programme has given me valuable insight into a range of services across the Council, and I'm really looking forward to continuing my development over the next two years."
This year, Dyfodol Môn is offering three graduate roles for a technical housing inspector, a digital transformation education officer and a trainee project co-ordination officer.
The council says successful applicants will get mentorship from colleagues along with the chance to start a new career and pursue a fully funded master's qualification.
Chief executive Dylan J. Williams, who began his own council career as a trainee 30 years ago, added: "It's great to see the Dyfodol Môn graduate scheme progressing into its second year."
"Creating opportunities for people to live and work locally, while making a positive contribution to our communities, is something we as a council feel strongly about.
"Through initiatives like this, alongside our wider traineeship and apprenticeship programmes, we are supporting the next generation by offering valuable experience combined with academic and professional development across a range of services."
"This is an excellent way of establishing a foundation, gaining skills and experience for a good career on the island."
Applications are open until Monday 11th May - for more information, visit the Anglesey Council website.
