A 57 year-old man has denied causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a two-vehicle crash near Bangor.
Three people were taken to hospital following the collision involving a white VW Golf and a black Vauxhall Corsa on the A487 Treborth Road on Tuesday evening.
Llandudno magistrates heard a 17 year-old girl, who was driving the Corsa, was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Stephen Mills, of no fixed abode, pleaded not guilty to three charges of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
The court refused an application for bail and Mills was remanded in custody until next month, when he will appear before a judge at Caernarfon Crown Court.
North Wales Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to come forward.
They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw the VW Golf being driven around the surrounding area before the crash happened.
Detective Inspector Tim Evans, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "First and foremost, my thoughts go out to the three young people who remain hospitalised following this crash, and I would wish to thank those who came to the aid of the casualties."
"I commend the work of all emergency services in their response to this incident, the investigation team who have worked tirelessly, and our specialist officers who continue to provide support to their families at this time."
"I am extremely grateful to those who came forward following our media appeal, and ask anyone who may have CCTV, or dashcam footage of a white VW Golf being driven in the Beaumaris, Llanfairpwll, Menai Bridge and Upper Bangor areas between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday to come forward."
