A man has been arrested after he was caught driving under the influence of drugs in Menai Bridge.
Officers stopped a vehicle with a defective rear light during routine patrols at just before 11pm on Monday night.
A 45 year-old local man gave a positive breath test and also tested positive for cannabis.
North Wales Police said his eventual breath reading in custody was just below the legal limit, which means he will face no further action for drink driving, but he was released under investigation pending the results of further drugs tests.
A NWP spokesperson said: "The message is simple - if you drink or take drugs, don't drive. Your decisions behind the wheel can have consequences far beyond a night in the cells. You could seriously injure or kill someone."
