There'll be extra trains from the North Wales Coast to Newport on the day of the Welsh Cup final.
Transport for Wales says it will run dedicated services on Sunday 12th April to ensure Caernarfon Town and Flint Town United fans can travel to and from Rodney Parade on the same day.
It comes after the FAW rejected calls for the final to be moved from South Wales to another venue in the North.
Macsen Jones, fan engagement executive said:“These services will help ensure supporters of both Caernarfon Town and Flint Town United can travel to Newport and return to North Wales safely and conveniently on the same day."
“Strong collaboration between major events and transport partners is essential in supporting football fans across Wales.”
A special early service from Holyhead to Newport will run from 8.20am with the return service setting off at 6.09pm from Cardiff Central. The final itself kicks off at 3.15pm.
TfW says there'll be extra security at key stations and on board services with fans being reminded that anti-social behaviour or verbal abuse will not be tolerated.
Georgina Porter, customer delivery manager at TfW, added: "Our close partnership with the FAW continues to deliver for fans. By providing these extra services, we’re making it easier for fans to support their team and travel to the final sustainably."
"We want everyone to have a memorable match day experience and ask that all passengers travel responsibly and treat our staff with respect."
The Cofis, under manager Richard Davies, are hoping to win the cup for the first time in their storied history and book their place in the Europa Conference League for the second time in three years.
Flint, led by ex-Wrexham midfielder Lee Fowler and currently embroiled in a Cymru Premier relegation battle, last won the trophy in 1954, beating the likes of Cardiff City, and in the final, Chester City.
