An inquest has been opened into the death of a police forensic expert in a two-vehicle crash.
Mark Handford was killed when his motorbike collided with a car on the A5025 at Burwen near Amlwch on 27th June.
The 58 year-old from Llangoed worked for North Wales Police as an evidence collector.
North West Wales coroner Kate Robertson told the Caernarfon hearing that Mr Handford suffered a number of injuries in the crash.
The inquest was adjourned until a later date while investigations continue.

At the same hearing on Wednesday, an inquest heard an Irish rugby coach was killed in a motorbike crash on the outskirts of Beddgelert.
Philip Doyle, who lived in Wexford, led Ireland to the Women's Six Nations championship in 2013 and later took charge of the Scotland women's team in 2019 and 2020.
The 61 year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of a collision involving a BMW GS motorbike between Nantmor and Nant Gwynant on 25th June.
Investigations are continuing and the hearing was adjourned.
