A Holyhead man accused of murdering his father is set to go on trial in the Spring.
Martin Ward was charged with Michael Ward (53), whose body was found in a flat at Llys Watling on London Road early last Saturday.
The 33 year-old appeared before Caernarfon Crown Court via videolink on Wednesday morning.
A provisional trial date was fixed for Monday 5th April 2027, with proceedings expected to last for around two weeks.
Martin Ward remanded in custody until a plea hearing which is due to be held on Monday 25th January.
Detectives are still appealing for anyone with information that could help with their enquiries to come forward.
