A Holyhead man who repeatedly assaulted and controlled a woman has been jailed.
Joshua Wren was found guilty of controlling and coercive behaviour between August 2025 and February 2026.
Mold Crown Court heard the 33 year-old had slapped and punched his victim and threatened her, leaving her in fear for her own safety.
Wren, who admitted possessing a Class B drug, was sentenced to three years and three months in prison.
He was also banned from contacting or approaching the womaNn under a seven-year restraining order.
Detective Constable Amie of North Wales Police said: "Wren has a previous history of violence and has once again shown that he is a danger to women."
"I commend the victim for her bravery in coming forward. I hope this sentence allows her to move forward with her life."
