The full reopening of Holyhead Port has been delayed for a second time in less than a month.
Terminal 3 was due to reopen on Tuesday for the first time since last December, after the port was badly damaged by Storm Darragh last December.
But operators Stena Line told passengers that "adverse weather conditions" have affected the final repairs - and the reopening has been put back until Friday at the earliest.
A spokesperson for the Port of Holyhead said: "Due to high winds, it has become unsafe to complete the final work to Terminal 3 today, the lifting of the fender panel onto pile D2.2."
"As the safety of our staff and contractors is our top priority, we have made the decision to delay the terminal's reopening, until conditions allow the work to be completed safely. If weather conditions improve, we only anticipate a short delay of a few days."
A Stena Line spokesperson added: "We sincerely appreciate our customers patience and understanding, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Terminal 5 reopened in January with a full sailing schedule - but the full reopening, initially earmarked for 1st July, had already been postponed due to essential repair works.
