An inquest has opened into the death of a Newborough woman following a two-vehicle crash on the A55.
Jennifer Brown (44) was a passenger in a white Ford Fiesta car when it was hit by a lorry near the Conwy Tunnel on Thursday 29th January.
She was pronounced dead at the scene and three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 57 year-old man was arrested and bailed on suspicion of causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving.
A post mortem examination found Ms Brown, a care home worker originally from Bangor, suffered multiple injuries.
Two people were taken to Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool while a third was airlfited to a specialist trauma unit at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
North Wales Central coroner John Gittins adjourned the hearing until a later date while a criminal investigation continues.
A GoFundMe appeal in aid of Ms Brown's family has now raised more than £15,200 while a fundraising match will be held at Ysgol David Hughes in Menai Bridge this Saturday in aid of Morgan Roberts, a youth player with Gaerwen FC who was seriously injured in the crash.
