An inquest has been opened and adjourned following the death of a Bangor University student.
18 year-old Poppy Johnson from Hull was found dead at the halls of residence on Ffriddoedd Road earlier this month.
The Caernarfon hearing was told she had been on a night out with friends when her body was discovered in her room on 16th November by security staff.
North West Wales coroner Kate Robertson said she had reason to suspect her death was unnatural.
The inquest was adjourned until a later date while a police investigation continues.
