An inquest has opened into the deaths of two young men whose bodies were found on Yr Wyddfa.
Jayden Long (19) and Eddie Hill (20) were found dead on the ridge at Grib y Dysgl last Thursday, following a major search operation.
Concerns had been raised for the pair from Norfolk after they had failed to return from a walk in Eryri.
North West Wales coroner Kate Robinson told a hearing in Caernarfon on Friday that post-mortem examinations had been ordered for both men but the cause of their deaths had not yet been identified.
She said there was reason to suspect the deaths were unnatural and a full inquest will be held at a later date while investigations continue.
The hearing was adjourned.
Stephanie Jolly said she would be taking part in the Cambridge Half Marathon next month in memory of both Jayden and Ellie to raise further money.
