A man is being questioned on suspicion of affray following a disturbance on a Caernarfon estate.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a public order incident in the Maes Hyfryd area at around 2.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.
The suspect, who remains in police custody, was also arrested on suspicion of possession a bladed article.
PC Fflur Hughes from North Wales Police said: "I would like to speak with anyone walking or driving, who may have witnessed the incident to come forward."
