A man from Bedfordshire has appeared in court charged with domestic violence at a hotel.
It follows an incident in the Holyhead area on Wednesday 28th August.
David McDonagh (48) of Houghton Regis was later charged with assault by beating and strangulation with intent.
He was released on bail when he appeared before Luton magistrates on Friday.
McDonagh is due to appear before a judge at Luton Crown Court on Monday 7th October.
