The Menai Suspension Bridge has fully reopened to two-way traffic as of 7am on Friday morning.
Work to replace a number of bolts on the beams underneath the bridge has been completed, following the temporary closure of the bridge earlier this month.
The 3-tonne weight limit has been replaced with a 7.5-tonne limit following the installation of additional strengthening.
The temporary works will be inspected each Wednesday morning at 1am with traffic being managed on the bridge using stop/go boards.
The full reopening of the bridge coincides with the traditional Menai Bridge street fair, which takes place on Friday and will allow traffic to and from Anglesey on both bridges.
A Welsh Government spokesperson said: "Work on a permanent solution to this issue will take place in the coming weeks to facilitate Phase 2 works. Further updates, including on the progress of the Phase 2 programme of works, will be provided soon."
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused to the local community while work was being carried out and thank everyone for their patience and co-operation during this time."
Earlier this month, the bridge was closed at short notice to all traffic, less than 24 hours after weight restrictions were introduced.
