Cultural projects and venues across Anglesey & Gwynedd are getting a funding boost from the Welsh Government.
The Trysor project on Anglesey will get a share of £550,000, allowing it to reach new audiences with Wales' archaeology and pre-history through bilingual interpreation and outreach.
The Storiel arts centre in Bangor will also get more funding, along with the Culture Gwynedd programme, which brings together the county's museums, archives and libraries.
Grants have also been secured for the Every Child a Library Member scheme in Gwynedd and the continued development of LMS Cymru.
The Welsh Government says the funding will allow projects to continue their activities through to the end of next March, building on work that is already underway.
Culture Minister, Heledd Fychan, said: "Museums, archives and libraries are at the heart of our communities, connecting people with their history, their culture and each other."
"This funding will allow projects right across Wales to build on the fantastic progress they've already made, reaching more people, in more places, with the stories that matter to them."
"I want to thank all the organisations who have worked with us to develop these projects. Their continued commitment to engaging communities, protecting our heritage and widening access to culture is making a real difference, and I'm pleased we're able to support them to extend this vital work through to March next year."
