Local families have begun in as tenants on a newly completed housing estate in Llanfaethlu.
Nine energy-efficient homes make up the Stad y Bryn development, which was built by the locally based firm Ingram.
Anglesey Council says all of the tenants are local of the island, benefitting from homes designed to be both affordable and environmentally friendly.
Cllr Carwyn Jones, who holds the housing portfolio, said: "I'm delighted to see local families settling into their new homes at Stad y Bryn. This development is a fantastic example of how we can deliver modern, energy-efficient homes that meet local needs."
"Providing quality affordable housing is one of the council's key strategic objectives, and it's heartening to see this vision becoming a reality for residents in Llanfaethlu. I'd like to thank everyone involved for their hard work and commitment in bringing this project to life."
The new timber-frame homes, built to Welsh Government standards, have highly insulated designs with an energy efficiency rating of EPC 'A', which is expected to help reduce energy costs.
They are also equipped with air source heat pumps and solar EV panels, designed to support the council's efforts to cut carbon emissions as well as promote sustainable living.
The council says it aims to reduce fuel poverty and overall energy usage while meeting growing needs for affordable housing on Anglesey.
The project has also been welcomed by the three county councillors for the Talybolion ward - Kenneth Hughes, Jackie Lewis and Llio Owen.
The new estate consists of intermediate rented properties allocated via the affordable housing register administered by Tai Teg, which supports local residents who may not necessarily qualify for social housing but are still in need affordable accommodation.
Ned Michael, Anglesey Council's head of housing services, added: "We're very pleased to welcome tenants to these new homes, which demonstrate our ongoing commitment to providing sustainable, affordable housing for local communities."
"The council will continue to work closely with the Welsh Government, housing associations, and other key partners to help meet housing needs across Anglesey and to ensure that developments like this continue to benefit local people."
