Work to repair the crossbeams on the Menai Suspension Bridge has been completed.
The Welsh Government says the second phase of the ongoing maintenance will reach a further stage this week with the lifting of the scaffold, known as the Aerotruss, to the underdeck.
A one-way tidal flow system will once again be in place for approximately six days, starting from Monday, to allow equipment to be installed for underdeck painting and bearing.
Traffic going from Anglesey to the mainland will be able to cross between 7am and 1pm, followed by one-way traffic from the mainland to Anglesey from 1-7pm.
The bridge will remain open both ways overnight, although the 7.5 tonne weight restriction will remain in place.
The eastern footpah will remain open but pedestrians are asked not to stop while crossing the bridge and cyclists are being reminded to dismount.
A Welsh Government spokesperson said: "The lifting of the scaffold will involve activity on the water over a period of days, including trial runs and is subject to weather conditions."
"As part of the revised wider Phase 2 programme there will only be traffic management for short periods of time to complete key elements."
"Overall, the revised plans have significantly reduced the need for traffic management on the bridge compared to the earlier plans, thereby reducing disruption to residents, commuters and businesses."
"Enforcement of the 7.5‑tonne weight limit remains essential for maintaining safe operation of the bridge while works are underway."
Last October, the bridge was closed entirely to all traffic after engineers found bolts on the crossbeams which needed replacing.
Transport Secretary, Ken Skates, added: "I’m pleased the work on the crossbeams has been completed successfully. Work now progresses to the next stage and I’d like to thank residents, commuters and businesses for their continued patience and co-operation."
