A Pwllheli man has been jailed after he flouted a restraining order by following a woman home.
Daniel Griffiths was given a domestic violence protection (DVPO) in court on 1st September, aimed at deterring him from contacting his victim.
But Llandudno magistrates heard the 52 year-old targeted the woman she was waiting for a bus less than a fortnight later.
The victim was said to have been left feeling distressed after Griffiths followed her on and off the bus, and then, towards her home.
District Inspector Iwan Jones of North Wales Police said: "We will continue to utilise all powers available to us to protect women and girls from violence."
"Any disregard of court orders put in place to protect individuals will not be tolerated and we will act to bring perpetrators to court."
