A major search has been taking place in the Menai Strait following reports that one person may have entered the water.
HM Coastguard confirmed on Tuesday morning that emergency services were dealing with an incident at the Menai Suspension Bridge.
The Coastguard helicopter at Caernarfon was sent to the scene on Tuesday morning, along with mobile rescue teams from Bangor, Llandwrog and Penmon.
RNLI lifeboats from Beaumaris and Moelfre were also sent out.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said that Coastguard searches had now concluded for the day.
They added: "These searches related to reports that an individual may have entered the water. Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of this person and the circumstances that led to the report being made."
