Emergency services were called out following a mayday call from a sinking fishing boat.
The vessel got into difficulty near Porth Cwyfan on Sunday morning after being pushed onto rocks by the swell.
The RNLI at Trearddur Bay launched its Atlantic 85 lifeboat at just after 10am with the Coastguard helicopter from Caernarfon and mobile coastguards from Rhosenigr monitoring the situation.
The lifeboat quickly arrived but the fishing crew managed to make it safely onto nearby rocks and needed no medical assistance. A life raft and other items of equipment were recovered from the water.
Tomm Moffett, a member of the three-strong lifeboat crew, said: "The crew of the casualty vessel were well equipped with lifejackets, a life raft and means of calling for help."
"They did the right thing by contacting the Coastguard immediately when they got into danger. Thankfully no one was injured."
"If you are ever in difficulty, or see someone else in trouble at the coast or in the water, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard."
