Six candidates in Ynys Gybi by-election

Six candidates are standing in next month's Anglesey Council by-election in the Ynys Gybi ward.

The poll was triggered by the death of long-serving councillor and former FAW president Trefor Lloyd Hughes last November, aged 77.

The candidates are:

Nick Bounds - Welsh Green Party
Celfyn Furlong - Reform UK
Margaret John - Welsh Conservative
Bethan Jones - Plaid Cymru
Mary Roberts - Welsh Labour
Robert Williams - Independent

The by-election will be held on Thursday 5th February with voting taking place between 7am and 10pm.
