Three men from Anglesey and Merseyside have appeared in court charged with conspiracy to supply ketamine and cannabis.

Police found a haul of suspected class B drugs during a search of a vehicle, which was stopped on the A55 at Llanfairpwll last month.

Guto Jones (23) of Gwalchmai, Cai McGuigan (21) of Ty Croes and Christan Robson (31) of St Helens are accused of conspiracy to supply.

Jones also faces further charges of possessing criminal property.

The three were remanded in custody by Mold magistrates for a month and will appear before a judge at Caernarfon Crown Court on Monday 7th September.

District Inspector Wayne Francis of North Wales Police said: "I am committed to combating the threat that ketamine poses to our communities."

“We continue to lead the way in terms of proactive enforcement, as well as educating our young people on the dangers of ketamine.”
