Tributes have been paid to a Bethesda man killed in a two-vehicle crash on the A5.
Carwyn Ellis (20) was riding a Honda motorcycle when it struck a Volkswagen Caddy van at Capel Curig at just before 5.30pm on Saturday 10th May.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and a female pillion passenger was airlifted to a specialist unit at the Royal Stoke University Hospital with serious injuries.
Paying tribute, Carwyn's family described him as a "loving son...and brother".
They said: "All who knew him and loved him, Carwyn was the kindest most loveable person and would always be there for everyone."
“As a family, we would like to thank all for their support and kind words and request that our privacy is respected at this devastating time."
“In particular, we would like to thank mountain rescue, paramedics, and the air ambulance teams who worked so hard to save him."
“Carwyn was so loved and we are heartbroken. We would also like to say our thoughts are with the pillion passenger and wish her a full recovery.”
North Wales Police say an investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
