Two men have been questioned following an alleged assault near a pub in Llanfrothen.
A man was seriously injured following the attack near The Brondanw Arms, known locally as Y Ring, at around 11pm on Saturday 30th August.
A 40 year-old man and a 61 year-old man arrested in connection with the incident have been released on conditional bail.
Detectives believe the assault may have been filmed on phone and are appealing for anyone with footage to come forward.
PC Aled Morris from North Wales Police said: "Investigations into this incident are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault to contact us."
