Two people were taken to hospital after a car overturned on the A496 near Barmouth.
The dark blue Volkswagen Passat was travelling towards Dolgellau when it crashed into a wall and an electric pole shortly before 5.10pm on Monday evening.
The road was closed for a time while emergency services attended the scene and engineers restored the electric pole.
North Wales Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage to contact them on 101 or via the live web chat, quoting reference no. O072327.
