Two men have been questioned following a spate of burglaries and vehicle thefts in Bangor.
Detectives are still investigating several incidents in the Hirael and Maesgeirchen areas last Saturday and Sunday.
Both men - from outside North Wales - were arrested and later released on conditional bail.
North Wales Police said the pair must not enter the area while their enquires continue.
Earlier, patrols were stepped up in both districts to provide reassurance and detectives urged local residents to ensure their doors and windows are locked.
