Two people were rescued after their kayak capsized off the coast at Puffin Island.
The RNLI at Moelfre sent out its all-weather lifeboat at Moelfre at around 4.10pm on Sunday afternoon.
Both casaulties were found sitting on the capsized hull of the dinghy as they tried to right their overturned vessel.
The pair, who were cold and tired were taken onboard the lifeboat, both showing signs of shock.
Three crew members launched the onboard Y-boat - designed for manoeuvring in tight spaces - to right the sailing dinghy, before it was taken to a safe mooring at Traeth Bychan, after being carried on the transom bay of the all-weather lifeboat.
Both casualties were well-equipped and had the necessary emergency equipment, but were advised by the mobile coastguard team at Penmon to seek further medical attention if they show any more signs of sickness.
Mike Hughes Roberts, deputy second coxswain at RNLI Moelfre, said: "Even though both sailors were tired, they did the right thing by dialling 999 before they became too exhausted."
"They wisely had their means of communication safely stored in a dry bag, ensuring it would be serviceable in time of need."
