Six fire engines were sent to deal with a vehicle fire in Mynydd Mechell, near Amlwch.

Crews were called to the village at around 9.30pm on Thursday night - and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service urged local residents to keep their windows and doors closed.

North Wales Police also urged the public to stay away from the area.

A Fire Services spokesperson said the blaze was brought successfully under control and crews left the scene shortly after 1.35am.
