Officials at Trearddur Bay FC say they've been subject to "unacceptable levels of abuse" following last week's assault during a match.
The Ardal North West club released defender Tom Taylor following an incident during their 3-2 defeat at Porthmadog last Saturday.
North Wales Police said a 35 year-old man was arrested and later released on conditional bail, while it sought advice on pressing charges.
In the past week, the club has postponed two league games and says it's focus is now turning to their Welsh Cup quarter final against Flint Town United next weekend.
In a statement on Thursday, a spokesperson said "As you can imagine, the past few days have been extremely challenging for Trearddur Bay Football Club."
"A number of committee members have been subjected to unacceptable levels of abuse, including threats to personal safety. Such incidents have been reported to relevant authorities."
"Whilst we awaited guidance from the FAW, a mutual decision was taken, in the best interests of both Trearddur Bay FC and Llanrwst United, to postpone our scheduled league fixture on Tuesday."
The statement added that their Friday night league game - at home to St Asaph City - was also postponed due to essential pitch maintenance at the Bangor City Stadium, where Trearddur Bay are playing their home games this season.
They said: "We explored the option of moving the match to a Saturday evening kick-off; at an alternative venue, however, it was not possible to agree on a suitable time for both clubs, and a mutual decision was therefore made to rearrange the fixture."
"We would like to thank everyone who continues to support the players, management, and committee, and we ask for that support to continue during what has been a difficult period for the club."
Porthmadog FC said its winger Danny Brookwell was recovering at home after being treated for concussion.
Ahead of their away game at Penmaenmawr Phoenix on Saturday, Port manager Chris Jones said he was "proud of how everyone at the club handled the days that followed, with calm heads, dignity and class throughout".
He added "the values of this club were clear in how everyone conducted themselves this week" and that the club were looking forward to having Brookwell back as soon as possible
