Caernarfon Town has published its new five-year strategy as the Cymru Premier prepares to expand next season.

All twelve clubs in the Welsh top flights have also unveiled formal long-term strategies designed to form closer links with the FAW.

The Cofis launched their plan last month at The Oval, where renovation work is continuing, including a major pitch upgrade.

The strategy sets out Caernarfon's goal to become a fully professional club as "flag bearers for the Welsh language" with a ground "fit for European football and community events in 2026 and beyond".

In his introduction to the new strategy, Caernarfon Town chairman Paul Evans said: "This club's heart beats stronger thanks to unforgettable European nights, a top-four finish and another memorable year where we have done our best to give the town and the surrounding area a club to be proud of."

"It's my promise we'll keep listening, keep learning and keep putting community first."

Next season sees the Cymru Premier expand from 12 teams to 16 as part of a £6 million investment programme, which includes the introduction of a VAR Lite system.

On the pitch, the club is aiming for regular attendances of over 1,000 as the league moves towards playing most of its games on Friday night with top-six finishes already an "established norm".

Within two years, the Cofis intend to expand their fan zones at the Oval and establish a full community foundation.

The new club strategies are also designed to make Wales the first nation in Europe where every club in the top tier has formal long-term plans connected directly to football's governing body.

Jack Sharp, the FAW's head of domestic leagues, said: "It has been brilliant to travel across the country over the last month to be a part of the clubs’ five-year strategy launches. Each club has presented an exciting future with such passion."

"There is so much enthusiasm around the clubs, which coupled with a set of intricate, focused, and well thought out strategic plans, makes me incredibly excited for the future of our domestic pyramid ahead of the changes coming in the 2026/27 season."
