Police are looking for a dog who attacked a flock of sheep in Bodorgan last month.

Three sheep suffered injuries to their hind legs and a fourth remains missing following an incident in fields near Llangristiolus.

It happened on Friday 21st August between 5.30pm and 6pm.

PCSO Rhys Evans from North Wales Police's rural crime unit said: "Anyone who was walking their dog through the fields at the time and has any information is asked to get in touch."

"We are once again urging dog owners to keep dogs on leads whilst walking in fields where livestock are present as not to cause distress or harm to the animals."

"If your dog has escaped in a rural area, you should contact the police as early as possible so local farmers and landowners can be alerted."

Anyone with information about the incident should contact PCSO Evans on 101 or via the live chat on the North Wales Police website, quoting reference no. 26000686983.
