An indpendent candidate has taken a former Plaid Cymru seat on Cyngor Gwynedd following a by-election.
Rhys Parry won the vacant seat in the Llanrug ward with a 132-vote majority over his nearest rival, Plaid candidate Dewi Rhys Evans, in Thursday's poll.
Mr Parry is also a member of Llanrug Community Council.
The by-election was triggered by former councillor Beca Brown's election to the Senedd as a Plaid MS for the new Gwynedd Maldwyn constituency in May.
The full result of the Llanrug by-election was as follows:
- Rhys Parry (Independent): 394
- Dewi Rhys Evans (Plaid Cymru): 262
- Terry Temple (Reform UK Wales): 17
- Stacie Marie Ingram (Welsh Conservatives): 6
- Sue Macfarlane (Welsh Green Party): 4
- Linda Park (Welsh Liberal Democrats): 3
