MônFM has been nominated at the 2025 Community Radio Awards for its live coverage of Gŵyl Cefni.
The community station for Anglesey and Gwynedd has made the shortlist in the category for Live Event or Outside Broadcast of the Year.
In June, MônFM provided exclusive coverage from the annual Welsh language festival in Llangefni, which celebrated its 25th anniversary with live music and entertainment, featuring top bands and artists such as Fleur de Lys, Gwilym, Mared, Morgan Elwy and Cordia - who also present their own Saturday evening show on the station.
This year sees the Community Radio Awards celebrate their tenth anniversary and the 20th anniversary of the launch of community radio in the UK.
Organisers say the 2025 event has seen the highest number of entries in recent years - with the winners to be announced at a ceremony in Bradford on Saturday 25th October.
Rebecca Steers, chair of the Community Radio Awards, said: "This year is not just about recognising the outstanding work across our sector over the past year it’s also a time to reflect on two decades of community radio in the UK."
"The quality and diversity of entries this year have been truly inspiring, and we’re thrilled to celebrate the dedication and creativity of our finalists."
MônFM's programming has been honoured at the event twice - winning Gold for Sports Show of the Year ('MônFM Sport') in 2019 and Bronze for the coveted Station of the Year in 2020.
Last year, the station's former chairman Tony Wyn Jones was given a posthumous Honour for his work in the Welsh community radio sector.
Other Welsh nominees in this year's awards include Rhondda-based GTFM, who are also nominated in the Live Event category for their coverage of last year's National Eisteddfod in Pontypridd.
