RGC will return to league action next weekend following the sudden death of Jack Davies.
The 24 year-old from Llanfairpwll played for both the Super Rygbi Cymru club and for Clwb Rygbi Caernarfon.
Both teams called off their first team fixtures last weekend as a mark of respect for the second row, who was also a teacher at Ysgol David Hughes in Menai Bridge.
In an open letter to fans, RGC general manager Alun Pritchard said the Colwyn Bay-based club would play its next game - at home to Pontypool on Saturday - as a tribute to Jack.
He also thanked supporters for "the support, kindness and understanding" shown "to Jack, to Jack's family and to Clwb Rygbi Caernarfon over the last few days".
Mr Pritchard said: "This is something many of our young players have never experienced before, and knowing how to respond, what to say or even how to feel has been incredibly difficult."
"There is no right or wrong way to process something like this, and everyone will deal with it in their own way. What I do know is that we are a team who look after one another."
"We will stand together, support each other and, in time, find our own way to move forward while remembering and honouring Jack."
"Among Jack’s many qualities were his resilience and inner strength. Despite facing numerous injuries that had kept him out of the game for more than 18 months, he never gave up."
"He was determined to play rugby and, more importantly, he was determined to represent RGC. That says everything about the person he was."
"As difficult as it is, we must now draw on that same resilience and strength, supporting one another and carrying Jack’s memory with us as we move forward."
"Many people have asked what they can do to help, and my answer is simple: come and support the players, support the team, support our staff and help us honour Jack’s memory."
"We will take to the field against Pontypool on 31st October, and this game will be played as a tribute to Jack. For once, it is not about the result. It is about coming together as the RGC family, standing shoulder to shoulder and remembering one of our own."
"We will share further details about the game in the coming days. In the meantime, thank you for continuing to show the compassion, unity and support that make RGC so much more than a rugby team."
"I look forward to seeing you all at Stadiwm Eirias as we come together to remember Jack."
Caernarfon's Admiral League match at home to Pwllheli was postponed on Saturday along with their second team match against Colwyn Bay.
A spokesperson for the club said: "Jack was part of the Caernarfon family, and our thoughts remain firmly with his family, friends and everyone who knew and loved him during this incredibly difficult time."
Caernarfon will resume their season on Saturday when they visit Nant Conwy in the first round of the Division One Cup.
