Police are investigating an alleged assault following a local football derby in the Nantlle Valley.
It's being claimed two Nantlle Vale players were attacked at a local pub after their Ardal North West fixture at Talysarn Celts on Tuesday night.
Both clubs have publicly condemned the incident following their end-of-season game, which Talysarn won 1-0.
A Nantlle Vale spokesperson said the alleged incident "drew away from the occasion" and "does not condone this type of behaviour".
In a later statement, they thanked Talysarn Celts for contacting the club and supporting the players.
The club added: "One thing is clear, that we stand together and we do not condone any kind of violent behaviour from any fan whether during the game or after off the pitch."
Talysarn Celts said it was aware of an the incident and that the matter has been referred to police.
A club spokesperson said on Wednesday: "The club condemns all forms of violence and treats this issue with the utmost seriousness."
"Although this incident did not take place on club grounds, involving club members, or under the supervision of the club, we are fully cooperating with Nantlle Vale CPD and the relevant authorities and support any appropriate action."
"There is no place for behavior like this in our society. We send our condolences and full support to those affected by this incident."
A North Wales Police spoekesperson told MônFM: "We can confirm that we are investigating an incident following a football match between Dyffryn Nantlle and Talysarn earlier this week."
