A serial thief from Bangor has been jailed following a pre-Christmas crime spree.
Police arrested Simon Lilley last December following a spate of incidents in and around the city, including residential burglary.
Caernarfon Crown Court heard the 44 year-old of no fixed abode was found by officers carrying stolen goods when he was caught.
He was sentenced to two and a half years in prison, after being convicted on a number of offences.
District Inspector Jamie Owens of North Wales Police said: "I want to thank the officers involved for their tireless work over many months to bring this case to court. This outcome reflects significant investigative effort and close working with the Crown Prosecution Service."
"Burglary is a deeply distressing crime that can have a lasting emotional impact on victims. It has absolutely no place in our communities."
"We will continue to relentlessly pursue those who commit burglary and bring offenders before the courts."
"I would also like to take the opportunity thank the members of the public who supported officers during this investigation."
