An inquest has opened into the death of a buisnessman in a two-vehicle crash in Llanfachraeth.
Sean Chamberlain (60) from Cemlyn was killed when his white Triumph motorbike collided with a grey Jaguar I-Pace car on the A5025 on Tuesday 12th May.
A man was arrested by police following the crash.
North West Wales coroner Kate Robertson said that Mr Chamberlain, who owned a car dealership and hotel in Cemaes Bay and a petrol station in Amlwch, died after suffering multiple injuries.
The Caernarfon hearing was adjourned until a later date while a police investigation into the crash continues.
Earlier this week, Mr Chamberlain's family thanked the public for "their sincere condolences and messages of support" during an "extremely difficult time".
In a statement on social media, they said: "We as a family have been overwhelmed by everyone’s kindness, love and support."
"We would also like to thank our incredible teams across each business, the Brookside Garage, Central Garage and the Gadlys for their continued hard work and dedication to keep everything running smoothly, whilst, they too, navigate their own shock and grief."
"Sean had immense pride in each business, team members and the people he met and had the privilege to work with over the years. We thank you for your continued support and appreciate your patience and kindness."
