Police seized over £30,000 worth of cocaine after stopping a car on the A55 near Bangor.
Lee Hope (38) from Huyton, Merseyside, was arrested after a large haul of cocaine was found in the boot of his vehicle in August.
He went onto plead guilty to possession with intent to supply.
Mold Crown Court heard detectives had acted on intelligence that a vehicle was travelling from Merseyside towards North Wales with the intention of bringing drugs into the area.
Footage released by North Wales Police showed Hope's Kia car being brought to a crawl and boxed in by three patrol cars before his arrest.
He was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison.
PC Scott Jones from North Wales Police said: "We will continue to relentlessly pursue those who seek to bring illegal drugs into North Wales and will act on any information received from the community."
"Criminals who are involved in drug supply cause devastating harm to vulnerable people for their own financial gain."
"I continue to urge anybody with information about drugs in their area to contact police or make an anonymous report to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
