A long-serving crewman with the RNLI in Moelfre has been honoured with a memorial plaque.
Alan Owen served for over 34 years at the lifeboat station, serving in a variety of roles beore going onto become its full-time coxswain from 2019 until his sudden death in August 2023.
His mother, Helen, unveiled the commenorative plaque at a ceremony on Sunday.

Alan volunteered for the RNLI alongside his late stepfather Vic and many more of his close friends, serving as shore crew, winchman and head launcher before joining the ranks of the all-weather and inshore lifeboats as a crewman, navigator (ALB), helmsman (ILB) and deputy coxswain (ILB).
He also volunteered for the RNLI's dedicated flood rescue team during the 2015 floods in both North Wales and Cumbria.

The ceremony was also attended by coxswain Vince Jones and launch authority Ieuan Williams, who both delivered readings.
An RNLI Moelfre spokesperson said: "Both Helen and Alan's partner, Mags, express their gratitude to everyone who attended today's service."
