Restrictions are being brought in to ensure Caernarfon's annual Bonfire Night fireworks can go ahead this year.
Caernarfon Town Council says spectators won't be allowed to watch the display from across the Aber foreshore following "serious" and ''dangerous'' anti-social behaviour at last year's event.
In a statement, a spokesperson said: "There were cases of people trying to watch the exhibition from dangerous areas and ignoring the advice of stewards last year and the organisers are keen to secure the future of the display."
The new measures were agreed following a meeting between the town council, the Caernarfon Lions Club, North Wales Police and the company organising this year's display.
The road to the Aber foreshore will be closed from the golf club and there will be a campaign to raise awareness on how to watch the display safely.
The fireworks, organised by the Town Council alongside the Lions and Gwyl Fwyd Caernarfon will be held on Wednesday 5th November at 6.30pm with food stalls open from 5.30pm.
The town council is also advising spectators not bring their own fireworks - including sparklers - to the display.
A spokesperson for Cyngor Gwynedd said: "Coed Helen Road, Aber Foreshore Road,Castle Hill to Castle Ditch, Greengate Street and Bank Quay, Caernarfon will be closed between 5pm and 8pm on the 5th of Novemeber. Signs will be in place to inform road users."
