The full list of candidates has been confirmed for Gwynedd Maldwyn ahead of the 2026 Senedd elections.
42 candidates - including eight parties and two independents - are standing in the new super constituency which combines the Dwyfor Meirionydd and Montgomeryshire seats with most of Arfon and parts of Clwyd South.
The area is represented by two separate MPs at Westminster - in the Dwyfor Meirionydd and Montgomeryshire & Glyndwr constituencies.
Each constituency will elect six new members as part of wide-ranging reforms which will see the number of Senedd members extend from 60 to 96.
The election will also see the 40 area constituencies replaced with 16 larger constituencies, with the four electoral regions - including North Wales - being abolished.
At the polls, the traditional first-past-the-post system is being replaced with a form of proportional representation, which means the number of seats won by a party or an independent candidate is more closely reflected by the percentage of votes they get.
Polls will be open on Thursday 7th May between 7am and 10pm with counting taking place the following day.
