Seven people were rescued after a yacht came close to rocks at Holyhead Marina.
The RNLI said a pan pan signal was sent out from the 11ft vessel, which had sailed from Dun Laoghaire, at just after 5.45pm on Saturday evening.
The inshore lifeboat from Holyhead and local coastguards were tasked following reports that the yacht’s anchor was not holding and she was getting ‘extremely close’ to the rocks in front of the marina.

Both crews arrived within minutes of the pan pan call and found all members of the crew were safe and well.
It was decided four of the yacht’s crew would be taken ashore while three remained on board to try and get the yacht away from danger.
The yacht crew had managed to attach their vessel to a Holyhead Sailing Club buoy and pulled slightly further away from the rocks.
But as a result, she became stuck, presumed to be on the muddy sea bed, because of the low water in the area at the time.

An RNLI Holyhead spokesperson said: “A decision was made that the vessel would need to wait until the next high tide, early this morning, to be refloated.”
The remaining crew members were taken back to shore with the yacht safely attached to the sailing club mooring overnight.
